CEIDA-IFCM is set up to focus on a particular field, copyright and related rights; its specialized and technical activity is centered on two critical axes of copyright and related rights management: technical assistance and capacity building of its clients.
CEIDA-IFCM is a client services-driven firm; these clients are collective management organizations (CMOs) of copyright and related rights, government authorities (ministries), international institutions and organizations, NGOs, SMEs in the creative industries and digital distribution of creative content, national and international media groups.
CEIDA's ambition is to federate the reputations of its collaborators both in Africa and in the world through the experience and professional standards of its partners. The services cover the traditional sectors related to the management of copyright and related rights (music, audiovisual and dramatic works, sound and audiovisual productions, performances, radio and television, visual arts (PGA), publishing, etc.).
The firm aims at contributing to the access of the clients to information technologies and business solutions which it understands the importance and the challenges in both technical and commercial aspects, especially for African CMOs. As such, CEIDA-IFCM undertakes to provide data processing services for these clients in order to become for them an accredited agency for the allocation of standardized international numbers with international organizations such as CISAC, IFPI, SCAPR, IFRRO, etc.
